Today Lulea The students showed off her revamped Eco-Marathon car Skilzi that will compete in the low-car driving in Germany in late May. Caroline iceberg to tune Skilzi

Her mission is to beat the Swedish Eco-marathon record at 1243 km on the equivalent of 1 liter of gasoline. The Swedish record was set by Chalmerbilen Eco Vera2009.

She is studying to be sound engineers in the catalog but has engine interest in the blood.

- My mom drives a motorcycle, my dad competing in road racing. They and I have driven crushing engine, "says Caroline iceberg that reads Arena MMT (media, music and technology) at Lulea University.

It begins to contract for this year's Shell Eco Marathon at Lausitz Ring in Klettwitz in eastern Germany and LTU is first out of his car.
Skilzi was already last year and looks like dan from the outside, but is completely redesigned inside.

A brand new, ethanol-powered engine with higher compression is last year, a new, robust crankshaft, new connecting rods in titanium and new chain drive, high-tensile aluminum.

Last year was Skilzi close to beating the Swedish record. Skilzi passed the 1201 km, only 4 mil from the record, and we are firmly convinced that the new trimmed version of Skilzi to triumph this year.

The race attracts over a hundred Student teams build fuel-efficient cars and race against each other.
All are struggling to beat the seemingly unbeatable record of 3410 km for internal combustion engines. It was the French team from Lycee La Joliverie who set the record 2004th

The year after it rolled Swiss team ETH Zurich entire 3836 kilometers on one liter of gasoline equivalent with its hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicle. It corresponds to the Paris-Moscow.

It would take an eternity to roll all these mil during a race so you simply run a fortbastamt number of turns, measure how much fuel has been spent and then count on it for how many miles you would have driven the equivalent of 1 liter of gasoline.
Students compete in two classes.

Prototype class which alone is to get as far as possible in a given amount of fuel.
City Car class where it is also about building a car that could qualify for city driving.
LTU's written about city car Baldos II ran the line out and went through a proper essay and was last registered to run on ordinary Swedish roads.

This year will not compete with LTU Baldos, only with Skilzi. But the team is called Team Baldos.
