Koenigsegg and Spyker? New technology compares two "bad guys"
Saab has a rare attraction for sports car manufacturers, And not just Both Koenigsegg and Spyker Cars doing extremely exclusive cars. New technologies have compared their two top models.
And after many trips various speculators during the spring and summer seemed to finally GM's choice of consortium Koenigsegg Group.
But in November, just before the deal would be made up, Koenigsegg Group got cold feet and quit.
Instead the Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker Cars up.
The similarity between Spyker and Koenigsegg is great. Both do extreme
sports cars in small editions, although Spyker produces more than twice
as many cars per year by Koenigsegg.
New techniques have looked at the specifications for the two companies' Habit models - CCRX Koenigsegg and Spyker C12 Zagato.
Both launched in 2007 and has clear Formula 1 features with a view to setting new records on the international racing tracks.
Engine: K: Koenigsegg house developed V8 engine of 4.7 liters with dual
compressors allows Standard Edition CCX 806 horsepower at 7000 rpm. But
the new ethanol engine is 1018 hp CCXR get when running at 100 percent
high octane ethanol and maximum boost pressure.
A: Spyker's use in its six standard models German Audi V8 engine of 4.2
liters, which provides 400 horsepower at 7200. But the top model, the
Spyker C12 Zagato stopped in Audi's 12-cylinder 6-liter engine and get
out 500 horsepower at 6500 rpm.
Performance: K: Koenigsegg CCXR accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.1 seconds, from 0 to
200 in 8.9 seconds and 0 to 200 and back to 0 in 13.7 seconds. Top
speed is over 400 kilometers an hour.
A: Spyker C12 Zagato accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.8 seconds. Top speed down to 310 kilometers an hour.
Size and weight: K: Koenigsegg CCXR is 4.2 meters long, nearly 2 meters wide and weighs 1280 kilograms.
A: Spyker C12 Zagato is 4.5 meters long, just over 2 meters wide and weighs 1480 kilograms.
Koenigsegg kick Spyker
Both Koenigsegg and Spyker put their cars on racetracks to show the exclusive user group, what they can do.
Koenigsegg takes the most power out of their engines, and aspire to
build the world's fastest car. Koenigsegg is fighting for the world
record in particular, Bugatti Veyron, which has the same performance as
the Koenigsegg CCXR.
Koenigsegg builds only about 20 cars a year, against about 50 for Spyker.
The most expensive car is the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita hitherto only
been in triplicate. It cost the buyer 1.5 million. One of the three are
for sale in South Africa now for a purchase price equivalent to 35
million.
