![]() Honda CBR 250R Honda, the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer, plans to cut production in Japan to a minimum. The domestic market accounted for 1 percent of total sales of motorcycles in 2010. Total Honda sold almost 18 million motorcycles, up nearly 20 percent over the year before. Markets that are growing is like India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Brazil. It is also in these countries that Honda intends to expand production capacity. In the Indian market, Honda sold last year, 11 million motorcycles. 2020, the number has increased to 25 million, the newspaper Asahi Shimbun. So far, Honda has manufactured motorcycles with a local manufacturer, but now the company has decided to individually expand the production capacity. Remaining in Japan is only one factory in Kumamoto, where the largest and most expensive motorcycles will be manufactured, as well as a few smaller models that are popular in the domestic market. In the medium-sized model CBR 250R will go on sale in Japan this spring has already rolled on the Thai roads for six months.
