Saab's CEO, Victor Muller, has been reported to Dagens Industri, found large American investors who want to become a partner.
According to the newspaper is Victor Muller on track to soon conclude
the agreement with the American investor. Everything can be completed
by the end of this week or this weekend.
I can confirm that Victor Muller is working hard to provide both long
term and short-term capital to create a stable situation for Saab, says
Ms Gustav on Saab's information department.
According to Dagens Industri, Victor Muller has been in the U.S. for nearly two weeks and negotiated with investors.
Yesterday came news that the fund GEM Global Yield Fund Ltd. gives the
company an additional 50 million shares. The addition means that wages
are expected to be paid on Friday.
But this is not sufficient for the plant to start in August as planned.
If a contract with an American investor would be closed would
manufacture in the factory to start again.
In the U.S., Saab's new crossover model being sold. The forecast is
that the 9-4X will sell around 10,000 cars in the country for a year.
In Sweden, they think only of around 200-400 cars per year, according to
an article in VI Annex. The car has been very well received in the
foreign press.
