It is a brand new Volvo model to be built at Volvo Cars new car plant in Chengdu, China. It is built not on the new ultra-modern platform SPA, which will launch this fall. It has been speculated wildly about the car that Volvo Cars will be produced in the new factory is being built on neighboring land to the Geely car plant in Chendou in southwest China , three-hour flight into the country from Shanghai counted.
