 Neuron demonstrator was unveiled in France on Thursday 19 January 2012.
The tailless unmanned smygflyplanet Neurons were showcased for the first time yesterday in France. Both Saab CEO Buskhe and Swedish Defense Minister Sten Tolgfors was in place.
Six countries are breathed into the Neuron project, which is held
together by the French defense group Dassault - France, Italy, Sweden,
Spain, Switzerland and Greece.
Saab is responsible for 20 percent of the demonstrator on display yesterday. Saab manufactures the hull itself in its plant in Linkoping. The delivery from Linköping to Dassault facility in Istres in southern France were already at the beginning of last year. The wings are from Spain, tail from Greece, cargo doors from Italy and other structural elements responsible for Switzerland.
