The newly formed Chinese aircraft manufacturer AVIC will recruit foreign managers to seriously take up the battle with Boeing and Airbus. AVIC manufactures today most military planes, but also has a regional aircraft under development. Planet, ARJ-21, test flew for the first time in November last year.

But now plans to develop a larger passenger aircraft of up to 150
passengers. The size of the class will AVIC to compete with the
