A group of Japanese researchers and companies have created a robot more human corpses than ever before. It is also cheaper than previous models.
The robot, Geminoid F, has been created to mimic people. It should, hypothetically, be able to work in hospitals, reception areas and museums. The author, Hiroshi Ishiguro of Osaka University, showed up a pioneer in 2006.
The new Geminoid model has several improvements. It uses only 12
pneumatic servos, compared with the previous model's 46th It lowers the
price to around 800 000 SEK.
The robot follows the operator's facial expression and eyes. The mouth,
eyes, head and shoulders have realistic movements. It can not go - the
choice of pneumatic servos that make the need to use a small external
compressor.
Demonstration model of Geminoid F is created by a non-named model. Other
designs can be built to order. ATR Intelligent Robotics Companies and
entertainment engineers at Tokyo Kokoro Company expect to sell about 50
copies.
