Honda (Asimo) Provides Interface to control a robot by thought

The Honda Research Institute Japan, in partnership with the ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International) and Shimadzu Corporation created the first interface to control a robot by thought Asima.

Technology Brain Machine Interface (BMI) USA electroencephalography (EEG) and near-infrared spectrography (NIRS) in addition to the extraction techniques recently developed to control the robot without the need to press buttons or do any kind of movement. The effectiveness of the system is over 90%.

The system works because of the changes occurring in the electrical and blood pressure in the brain when you think. Helmet with sensors that measured their brain activity, analyze the patterns and send wireless commands to the robot.
