The Honda Research Institute Japan, in partnership with the ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International) and Shimadzu Corporation created the first interface to control a robot by thought Asima.
Technology Brain Machine Interface (BMI) USA electroencephalography (EEG) and near-infrared spectrography (NIRS) in addition to the extraction techniques recently developed to control the robot without the need to press buttons or do any kind of movement. The effectiveness of the system is over 90%.
