Dexterous robot fixes washing hairNursing robot from Panasonic that washes the hair of people published this week.

Already last year, Panasonic introduced a bed that converts into a wheelchair. It is supplemented this year with a nursing robot, which will relieve the work of health professionals in hospitals or nursing homes.

Nursing robot is equipped with two arms and a total of 16 fingers. The robot scans the three-dimensional head before treatment begins. Head form placed into memory so that the robot can shampoo and massage the scalp with a comfortable pressure.

Each of the arms has three engines to independently regulate the fingers treats the scalp based on signals from pressure sensors.

Nursing robot, like a refined version of the flexible bed, presented this week at HCR healthcare exhibition in Tokyo.
