The manufacturer Toyota has put forward a technology called Window To The World, to offer interactivity on the windows of automobiles. Car manufacturers are constantly looking for new useful features, based on new technologies. Aeon project in collaboration with Dassault Systems has already demonstrated the potential to make a feature of augmented reality in our cars.
It is now Toyota Motors Europe that examines the issue of the windows
multimedia touch with her project called Window To The World. In
partnership with the Institute of Interaction Design and Copenhagen, the
builder shows a video (shown below) demonstration of the famous windows
that react to finger pressure.
The project provides information including distance and visible elements on the outside of the car. It is also possible to zoom in on specific elements of the environment visited. With plus the ability to draw with your fingers, this project is primarily for children, allowing them busy for long journeys.
The prototype project was presented at the event "Our Future Mobility
Now" held in Brussels in late August. For now, no evidence has been
provided on a forecast of development of this system in future vehicles
stamped Toyota.
