Swedish Consumers' demands that the consumer electronics industry makes it easier for consumers to repair their computers.

Five computers with spiked, simple errors were submitted to five stores, but none managed to fix the errors. It was the result of a review in the newspaper Advice & Ron. Now requires that the Swedish Consumer electronics industry makes it easier for consumers to repair their computers.

Five identical laptops with simple errors were submitted to five different stores, but none of the stores were able to fix the errors. Three of the stores sent the computer to the same workshop in Vaxjo, which gave three different statements about the error and gave estimates that ranged from 2117 to 11,336 crowns.

Consumer electronics hard sell new stuff solely on price and performance through its ongoing advertising campaigns. It is not taking responsibility for sustainable development to both do it and to mismanage the repairs as Advice & Ron survey shows, says Orjan Brinkman, chairman of the Swedish Consumers, in a statement.

He believes that the consumer electronics industry tries to get consumers to constantly buy new, and that today's toss away mentality is a great waste of resources.

Now requires Swedish Consumer to consumer electronics industry will make it easier for consumers to get your computer repaired at a reasonable cost, and that the industry makes it easier for consumers to select the computer from an environmental perspective and a social justice perspective in the store.

The consumer who wants to use his computer but still think about environmental and social justice have it tough. Where are the options in the store, wondering Orjan Brinkman.

Swedish Consumers Association is a non-political umbrella organization that promotes greater consumer power. The organization publishes the magazine Tips & Ron.
