![]() Nokia will focus more on quality than on experience rapid product launches. It was the only announcement from the mobile giant's new CEO Stephen Elop to today's teleconference. The answers for all the other issues he referred to the company's Capital Markets Day on 11 February. Nokia's conference call with analysts in connection with today's closing presentation was a bit TRUNCATED. Most questions answered Nokia's new CEO Stephen Elop with "You may know more February 11 when we talk about our new strategy." He stressed however that "The industry has changed, and we have to change even faster." But it should not be construed as "faster product launches." Stephen Elop said namely that the new tactics will focus on providing "great customer experience" rather than on faster new product launches. - It's my job to ensure that the Nokia brand, will continue to stand for high quality, "he said. Stephen Elop acknowledged that the U.S. market is still a disappointment for Nokia. But he comes with a vengeance February 11 on how he expects to open the door to Nokia in the U.S.. |
