Toyota, the world's largest automaker, has developed solar-powered charging station electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Already in the spring to 21 stations built in Toyota City in Japan. Town Toyota City in Aichi province bought the idea and will build 21 stations in 11 locations in the municipality. In April next year the entire roll started, reported the Japanese news site Tech On. The solar cells may be a power of 1.9 kW. These include the charging bars with electronic payment systems and small, efficient charging unit which will sit in the cars. Today there are almost no standard products of this kind on the market. In addition to these news related to the infrastructure for future generations of electric vehicles and hybrid electric Toyota has a whole new generation of hybrid electric and again. A so-called concept, an idea for a new electric hybrid, will be presented at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in the USA on 11 January 2010. |
