![]() The Swedish Deep Green tidal power plant has been a further step to test in practice. With 20 million in new venture capital Deep Green can make the leap into the sea. Next summer, we put out a Deep Green in 1:10 scale for testing off the coast of Northern Ireland and at the end of 2012 we hope to establish a pilot park in one place and deliver tidvattenel to the country in collaboration with a client, an energy company. It says Anders Jansson, CEO of development company Minesto AB in Gothenburg, the New Technology on Tuesday morning. It is now clear that Minesto have received three new shareholders, who together with the original two, Saab and Midroc New Technology, goes into 20 million in new venture capital. The new shareholders are investment companies BGA Invest Hexiron and Dunross & Co. - These are individuals who have personal experience of developing businesses, "says Anders Jansson. You were invited to an international investment conference on green technology in Monaco recently. Were there any results of it? - No, not instantly. It was more of a contact-building for the future. The capital we now have has nothing to do with Monaco Conference to be done, "says Anders Jansson. He says that the capital now allows the new stage in the development of Deep Green. - The installation outside Northern Ireland next year will be a test of functionality and a verification of the economic calculations, technology and control systems, "says Anders Jansson. |
