By using molten salt instead of oil to solar power stations more efficient, But one problem is that the salt can "freeze".
Solar power plants that generate electricity using concave mirrors, directed against the sun's rays, one absorption tube in the mirror focus. In pipe flows usually oil is heated to about 400 ° C and pumped to a heat exchanger that heats water into steam, which, through a turbine and generator generates electricity.
