Surgery Remote HDTV with 3D Ultra I Print E-mail

For those who like technology, nothing better than to observe the latest advances in medicine, with equipment that seem more out of a science fiction movie. A good example is the Da Vinci robotic endoscopic system Si, the first in the world that allows operations using a 3D HDTV, entitled to a HD camera for each eye and four robotic arms!

Launched in April 2009, the da Vinci Si introduces several enabling features, including:

  • Enhanced high-definition 3D vision for superior clinical capability
  • An updated user interface for streamlined setup and OR turnover
  • Extensibility for digital OR integration
  • Dual-console capability to support training and collaboration during minimally invasive surgery.

Using the Da Vinci If the surgeon can work with all the precision, making moves that would not be possible with the naked eye. He can control everything through a touchpad and the system has many ergonomic adjustments to be used in surgery longer. The doctor also at your disposal a widescreen display with touch screens.

To complete, you can still buy two seasons, so surgeons can operate two at once. The only problem is the cost of all the equipment, which should be huge. Learn more at Intutive Surgical .
