Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have demonstrated that UV radiation can cause the production of protein in the nanoparticles placed in the body of mice. After introduction into the body of a cancer patient nanoparticles are directed to the tumor . In contact with her external UV rays directed to the location of the nanoparticles, the synthesis of the protein preparation starts, which will destroy the cancer cells.

These man-made, not found in nature molecules are able to store and transmit genetic information is inherited. Thus, a giant step toward understanding the origin of life on Earth, and to create, perhaps, new forms.
