![]() If the consultation of 3D movies and games highlight video can cause eye fatigue or nausea with some users, it should not be able to permanently damage our eyes. "This is unlikely to cause permanent damage to vision" has been declared Dr. Mark Borchert, ophthalmologist of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, part of an interview conducted by our colleagues at Gamasutra. "There is no evidence that 3D can cause permanent damage to your vision, coordination of your eyes or something like that." The doctor also states that stereop-sis develops in young children during their first three years. "And it is unlikely that children this age, where stereo vision is still developing, to play these games.
