![]() The world’s first niovaxlade automatic transmission for front wheel drives passenger cars presented by ZF Friedrichshafen. The big German supplier ZF Friedrichshafen during AG promise almost imperceptible shifts and better fuel economy with its new niovaxlade automatic transmission, developed for front-wheel drive cars with transverse engine. The comfort should be noticeably better compared to the six-speed ZF automatic transmission that produces the front-wheel drive cars. The company points out that 80 percent of the cars produced in the world is run by the front wheels with a transverse engine. The gearbox is manufactured in ZFS new plant in Greenville in the United States. The company has not specified if there are any specific customers to the gearbox, but the German trade press reminiscent of an increasingly close cooperation between Chrysler and ZF. |
